[Sam rubs his eyes as he crosses the room in his sweatpants and rumpled t-shirt. Lucifer is of course lingering in the corner, so Sam clenches the stone in his pocket to send a shock through him. His body jerks, but Lucifer disappears, so he’ll take it as a good sign.
When he reaches the table, he produces the stone, setting it on the table.]

He's always talking, or does he have a mute button somewhere in there. Not that Lucifer getting his sick freak on watching you sounds any better, but at least he'd stay tightlipped.
( He sets the two plates down, sliding into a chair. )
Yeah, I get - how does she expect you to live like that, Sam? How are you going to work. Lucifer could sick you on some unsuspecting patient. How do you know what you're seeing isn't what he wants you to see. And do we know this is really just your mind's Lucifer and not Lucifer himself? Does she know anything, Sam?
